NSW Family Contact Services
Refund Policy
A legal disclaimer
NSW Family Contact Services operates on a pre-booked, appointment-based system. All sessions require allocated time, travel arrangements, and preparation. Because of this, payments for supervised contact services, changeovers, reports, or travel fees are generally non-refundable.
Refunds will only be considered in limited circumstances where:
· NSW Family Contact Services cancels the session for reasons unrelated to client behaviour or safety; or
· An administrative error has occurred; or
· A duplicate payment was made.
No refunds will be issued for:
· Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice
· Same-day cancellations or no-shows
· Behavioural incidents that result in early termination of a session
· Late arrivals that shorten the scheduled visit
· Failure to provide required court orders, documentation, or safety information
By booking and attending services, clients acknowledge and accept this refund policy. NSW Family Contact Services reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time.
What to include in the Refund Policy
Generally speaking, a Refund Policy often addresses these types of issues: the timeframe for asking for a refund; will the refund be full or partial; under which conditions will the customer receive a refund; and much, much more.
